Terahertz 3D Laser Tomography
This project developed and demonstrated a terahertz (THz) imaging system using a custom quantum cascade laser (QCL) with laser-feedback interferometry (LFI) and integrated motion control of targets. The system achieved high-resolution, rapid acquisition of both amplitude and phase information, enabling precise scanning and imaging of biological and material samples. . The project also implemented advanced image preprocessing, feature extraction, and 3D reconstruction techniques to enhance data quality and interpretation, establishing a robust platform for future biomedical and material science investigations.
